Andy Ray, a UTK grad student and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer is available on campus to answer your questions about Peace Corps service. He served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica from 2005-2007 in a rural community development project.

Peace Corps is actively seeking candidates with education and/or experience in the following areas: education, agriculture, environmental sciences, French and Spanish. For those interested in Peace Corps service that do not have experience in these fields, there are simple ways to become more competitive. Attending a Peace Corps event or speaking with a Peace Corps representative is a good way to learn about the application process and how to be more competitive.
