Job Description
  • Provide specialized chemistry expertise to define and enhance manufacturing processes, collaborating with teams and project leaders.
  • Plan and control laboratory work to gain targeted in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, investigate and develop solutions to the identified intractable chemical problems in order to achieve continued improvement of chemical processes.
  • Work with a team of chemists and engineers to optimize manufacturing processes from chemical route selection to lab trials.
  • Identify and progress development initiatives, to implement technology and IP strategies, exploring alternative routes, technologies and options for low cost manufacture for products and intermediates.
  • Communicate with commercial, research, manufacturing, development and HSE functions and participate in works and Supply Chain teams in order to define and progress development strategies.

Qualifications

  • PhD in organic chemistryor related fields.
  • Fluent English.
  • Basics partnering and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented, good communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Methods development aptitude and creativity.
  • Laboratory experience.
  • Strong background in synthetic or physical organic chemistry, reaction mechanism and kinetics.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and experimental design.
