Job Summary

Working as the Division Finance Director you will be responsible for the financial management and reporting for all our K12 business. You will serve as a strategic business partner to the Division President and will report directly to the CFO. Through this partnership you will work to expand revenues through new client sales and existing client retention, drive profitability through expenses tracking, and will be expected to drive process innovation through the entire organization. Additionally, you will assist with all the accounting and control functions including all revenue and expense reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and monthly financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provides financial guidance to operating units within the division on matters involving client returns, revenue, and profitability goals.
* Improves the financial position of the division by compiling and analyzing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and considering "what if" scenarios to bring forth suggestions to CFO.
* Participates in quarterly business reviews and client negotiations.
* Will monitor and track cash receivables and develop a periodic plan to optimize working capital.
* Streamline existing processes and develop innovative new solutions for the business.
* Documents and maintains complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance; 7+ years of related experience in contracted services; K-12 experience is preferred.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Experience with SAP, Excel, Power Point, Access.
* Strong organization and time management skills.
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
