WAGE & BENEFITS

This Customer Service Representative position starts at $21.61. This includes a base wage of $17.20/hour, and an additional $4.41/hour for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, a flexible spending account (FSA), or a health savings account (HSA). If you don't need benefits or do not spend it all, the additional $4.41 is yours to add to your paycheck or invest in 401K! We offer 11 paid holidays, paid time off (vacation and sick) that starts to accrue on your first day, supportive leadership, and a positive team-oriented culture.

EXPECTATIONS

As a Customer Service Representative, you are the first line of communication for our clients on the phone, through chat, or email. Whether answering simple questions or solving complex problems, you are patient and friendly. You put yourself in the caller's shoes and listen carefully to their needs. The key to your success is that you never give up or lose your cool. You are all about following through and resolution. Most of our borrowers are appreciative of our exceptional customer service, but occasionally one of them is frustrated. You don't take it personally, and your professionalism and kindness usually turns things around. You will have round-the-clock support from senior agents and leadership who are just a phone call away when you need assistance. You get great satisfaction out of making the student loan experience easy for busy students and graduates!


QUALIFICATIONS

* High school diploma (degree preferred)

* Computer skills

* Exceptional customer service and phone skills

* Ability to obtain a federal security clearance

* Fluent Spanish speakers a plus, but not required


We will train the right person on the technical aspects of our software and best practices.


WORK SCHEDULE

This position requires availability during our hours of operation:

Monday 8:00am-9:00pm

Tuesday-Wednesday 8:00am-8:00pm

Thursday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
