Responsibilities:
The Y-12 National Security Complex has three primary national security missions that protect our country and our allies around the world. Maintaining the US nuclear weapons stockpile, reducing global threats, and fueling the US Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program are key activities at this historic site.

The CAD Piping Designer will prepare Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) design drawings to support the Lithium Processing Facility (LPF) at the Y12 National Security Complex.
- Utilizing Intergraph Smartplant software to prepare drawings to project specifications.
- Coordinates work with that of others in discipline group and other discipline groups on the project.
- Prepares complete information for design details that can be distributed to other design or draft personnel for completion.
- Understands project scope as presented within a specific discipline.
- Ensures that designs are consistent with project technical requirements and scope.
- Works to project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures.
