Meet the Sales Operations Team

Our Sales Operations team is composed of outgoing, proactive individuals who are proud to function as PerkSpot's main brand ambassadors. In collaboration with other AEs, Sales Managers, and Client Success Managers, you will research revenue-generating roles and find ways they can be more productive, eventually data-driven decisions. Your work will help identify and define future strategies for the entire sales team.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Acting like a strategic partner to Sales, Client Success, and Marketing teams
  • Working with team members to turn revenue-generating ideas into a reality
  • Researching and identifying ways for PerkSpot to grow its revenue footprint
  • Researching, evaluating, and choosing potential tools to add to our growing revenue tech stack
  • Reviewing and setting requirements for incoming stakeholder requests
  • Creating and distributing reports for all commercial levels of PerkSpot
  • Conducting User Acceptance Testing, then releasing new features to stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Availability from mid-June through end of August
  • Must be an incoming junior or senior student in college
  • Courses taken: Management/Business Information Systems
  • Experience in technology/systems evaluation
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM a plus; experience in data analysis and reporting via Excel
  • Strong critical thinking skills with an innovative approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to organize several ongoing insights and turn them into an actionable strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driven, proactive work ethic
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude

Life as a PerkSpot intern:

As an intern for the PerkSpot team, you'll be working 35 hours for eight weeks. During that time you will be a full-fledged member of the company and attend regular team and 1x1 meetings to track individual and company goals. During this time your focus will be on two dedicated projects - one team-specific, and one with your fellow interns. As you work through those projects, you'll meet with direct managers and mentors to receive tangible, constructive feedback on your progress and work ethic. You'll also get to be a part of the PerkSpot team - this means inclusion in company events and team building exercises! And if you're out of state, we'll even fly you out for your final week.
